not resolvedIt is a truth universally acknowledged that a man in possession of a Halfords torque wrench and a bicycle made predominantly of alloy will eventually be in need of a thread repair system.
Naturally, you can't buy a single Recoil or Helicoil insert - part of the humiliation of buying them is the implication that you're going to mash multiple threads and therefore need a packet of twenty.
Anyway, if anyone on here has stripped an M6 female thread, let me know and you can repair it for free.
