Don't know if any of the canalpath riders have spotted the absence of a friendly bearded cyclist, but learned recently that Bill Brockie will be off his bike for a while, as a result of an accident involving a narrowboat and the aqueduct (but not a bike). He's convalescing well, but the tow-path will be a less convivial place for a bit.
