    Sorry to hear that Bigjack.

I used to take my boy to nursery along Merchiston Pl and I can confirm it's a horrible rat-run (when it should be a quiet residential street).

I had a few near misses at the junction with Merchiston Ave. And cars always try to pass you on the bends, even when they can't see past...

Holding primary all the way through is the only answer (not easy I know, and that doesn't help much at the junction)

Hi Bigjack - that's really bad news, I'm so sorry to hear that. I can completely empathise with your situation (although it sounds considerably worse than ours) - at least you have been quick off the mark involving lawyers.
I really hope you guys can stay positive and that the recovery process goes quickly and smoothly - best wishes to you and yours.

There's a lot more traffic through Merchiston Ave/Place than usual right now. i think because of the view forth works and the temp works on Gilmore place?

I've seen a lot of very worrying aggressive driving from Yeaman Place to Merchiston Ave. I've told my daughter not to cross without waiting for an adult because it is so bad right now.
