Heading through Gyle Public Park this morning around 9.15 I spotted an ambulance up ahead at the recently resurfaced section where the path takes a couple of bends alongside the railway. Turns out a chap had come off his bike on the bendy section. Woman he was with flagged me down and warned me to take care as the path is slippy there. It is quite greasy looking, not helped by start of leaf accumulation plus grass cuttings now rotting nicely on the path.

My rear wheel slipped a bit here the other night heading home but luckily it snapped back into place and I carried on regardless...

Chap this morning definitely not so lucky. He was being helped to move by ambulance crew (looked very stiff and sore) and had quite a sizeable lump and cut on his forehead. Looked as though he had come down heavily. Speedy recovery to him.
