Yes. I was cycling up the wrong side of St Mary's Street, traffic had been jammed since Tollcross.
I aim for the turning half way up St Marys St. It takes you out at a ginnel beside the White Horse Pub and from there you take your chances as all the roads are closed (I went down to Tollbooth Taver and took the ginnel that goes through that pub).
Anyway the bin lorry is coming down St Mary's but instead of speedingand then braking at the snarled up traffic the driver stopped and flashed me to allow me to take the right turn. Probably a one off but worthy of mention.
