Oh good. I was expecting this to be the following week, which I could not make. I will put this in the calendar now.

Erm. Apparently I cannot see? Because this seems to have been bumped before I asked about it in another thread!

Only if you subscribe to mainstream theories regarding the linearity of time.

    It's easier.

    PY is every month (almost).

Unhurt may have thought this was the pub thing on the 17th, the one I can't make? But it is the coffee thing the day before, which I can make. Possibly slightly hungover dependent on when I cycle home from Xmas do, catch train etc

No, I knew they were different, I just couldn't find this post to check when this month's PY was!

Will give getting there a shot. But I may have a silly-O-clock meeting going in, time will tell.

I may make tomorrow's PY, but having just had my work's Christmas lunch I'm all socialled-out for today and have no more spoons.

"I have no more spoons"... PY may be able to provide you with a spoon should you require one?
(Which, being translated, means, please explain...)

Thinking I will try and make it. My work Christmas lunch starts at 12:00, I am aiming for the late shift, before running some pre-lunch errands

Spoons are in case you don't have tyre-levers, right?

Hope wingpig is going to make the same effort to live up to his name as modes of transport.

Looking like 8.23 for me as works night out last night, we had one round of our quiz involving guessing the occupation of the other party the venue had also booked in the space. I then cycled home through a busy Edinburgh night time. Fewer cars but many mor peds strewn over the road.

Probability of getting out of the house in time ≃ probability of pig flight.

It was nice too see everyone, even though I wasn't all that quick out of the house and wasn't first there!

I joined 4 other cyclists at the junction with the Royal Mile... and paused en route to the train to take a photo of some vans parked in the Waverley bike lane.

Oops. I only remembered as I rolled by down MMW and saw a collection of interesting bikes including the Red Torpedo.
