    Position on our asks:
Support for investment of 10% of transport budget — Yes — "Labour's manifesto commits to 10% in the current budget. I am pleased that it does."
Support for high quality infrastructure — Yes — "Labour's manifesto contains some very good policies on this, which I believe have been assessed as 'partial' support. I'm keen for there to be more infrastructure for cycling wherever it can be made to work well. Affordability was an issue when Labour's manifesto was being drawn up because councils are very short of resources. I will be actively watching for ways in which cycling infrastructure can be funded, if I'm elected."

Support for removing local barriers — Yes — "I'm keen to make both walking and cycling better and safer. If I am elected, I will be working hard to deliver on the 'wish-list' that I already have from dozens of conversations with residents. I'll always be pleased to hear suggestions from local people about improvements to roads, pavements, crossings and other measures to make walking and cycling easier."
"I'd like to thank all the Morningside residents who've spoken with me about walking and cycling."
