I am intermittently having a shadow.

My only routes there are horribly hostile. I will have a coffee at home and think of you all and try to wake up earlier next time!

Sitting here at PY wondering if I've missed a memo. Turns out it was not just a post but a whole thread. I'm really not active enough on the forum, am I?!

If only there were a mode of transport that could get me across the centre of town in the middle of rush hour in 5 minutes...

That was pleasant. Big up to BikeTrain for that trailer. Sweet work.
Even bigger up to kaputnik and kaputnikik for lending me their bicycle.

That worked really well with us all outside and active and trying out bikes, drinking coffee, chatting, being given books
Good to see you all. Maybe a record?
Very pleasant cycle t work there through the meadows, no hostility except two fellow cyclists in big hurry, one undertaking me, guess Morningsider et moi were taking up too much path.
Meadows has lot of festival stuff getting set up. Very early this year.

Great gathering today, not only of interesting people but interesting bikes as well. I saw 4 elephant bikes in total and rode 1. But alas only saw two at the same time, so a herd of elephant bikes was not achieved. Did you know Greenroofer has an elephant bike?
Also got to be stoker on a laidback tandem.
Thanks for the feedback on the bike carrying trailer, hopefully Hankchief will be able to demonstrate it load/bike carrying next time.Posted 7 years ago # -
i saw another elephant bike nr on St Leonard's St on my way to work - wicker basket - a CCEer ?
how many constitutes a plague ?

Canal does have benefit of being a test zone - cobbled work out for bikes with big tyres or the full suspension Azub Twin
Added benefit is on commute route and our tests activated the bike counter (and Counter Barge). Guy there said he just about ran out of milk.
Nice seeing the crowd. First shot taken by chdot - he says he's now on a train so I had to screengrab it.

@Iain McR, if it was a beige one that was possibly me. :-)
I slept in, so missed Greenroofer, thereby ruining the collective opportunity to achieve herd status.
I was quite impressed with biketrain's re-engineering of the CarryFreedom trailer.

@ Arellcat - i can not recall the colour - but I did speak to the person riding it.
Do you have an formidable beard ? Headed up Bowmont Place.
Posted 7 years ago # -
@Biketrain - you look so relaxed riding that tandem in Laidback's picture :-)

@Iain McR, arellcat does not have a beard formidable or otherwise. You have spotted a different person on an elephant bike.

I was pootling along St Leonards after not-PY, but it was probably also post-commuting time. At any rate, I'm not capable of a beard, I didn't speak to anyone en route, and I went up Rankeillor St.
Iain, perhaps you met Kaputnik who does have a beard (and sometimes a little passenger on the back) or the guy that looks a bit like Kaputnik and who sometimes carries a dog on the front.

@arellcat, the guy who looks a bit kaputnik'y but has wee dog in wicker basket was pointed out to me yesterday. He stays out Ratho way I believe.
