Did. I think that's the first time I've seen what your hat does when you turn.

That was good. Lifted the leaden pall of gyratory-induced gloom a bit.

Almost barred from PY for excessive belling. A new experience for me.

We should think ourselves lucky it was only a mechanical bell, not a Hornit; they'd've kicked us out without letting us finish our coffees.

Big up to @wingpig for the hub dynamo that will allow completion of the amateur Franco-Scottish hydroelectric scheme this summer.

Also a pack of burst inner tubes that may well find their way onto the wall of an art gallery in Dundas Street shortly.

Ring Dem Bells is a great episode of Dad's Army don't you know. (Attached to this thread is a twine and attached to this twine is a rope - Wilson fires the arrow up to the city hall clock tower where the platoon in stranded)

Dad's Army is really just Postman Pat with rifles and marching.

Oooh, I knew as I typed that it was 1987 and I was constructing an experiment looking into the concept of Anaphora

In 1987 I put a rear mech through the back wheel of a beautiful big white raleigh with a brooks saddle on the great western road Glasgow. That bike was worthless then (well cost me £20) and priceless now ( well as Sir Rod sang, I wish I knew what I know now, when I was younger - I would have paid for the repairs)
