This Friday (27th). Excitingly this is an immediately pre-PoP PY too.
Usual deal, usual place, usual time range (? @gembo may wish to be early), usual black (coffee) market exchanges of items.
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

I wish to be early 7.30a.m. Any takers?
If I come I will be there not long after 7:30.
Too early for me, but I could be there by say 08:15?
You can then all lie down in front of the diggers to stop them from putting a trench through MMW just before POP ...
A ghost trench has been spray-painted on MMW. May add 'DO NOT DIG HERE' with spray-chalk tomorrow.
> stop bulldozer
You lie down in the path of the advancing bulldozer.
@jdanielp
I am having an actual flashback. That was a FIENDISH game. It took me weeks and weeks of playing on the library computer to get out of the house alive.
@sallyhinch is THIS when the PoP induced nervous breakdown kicks in?
@unhurt - How many times are you checking the forecast a day? When it gets to hourly, seek help
Ok fimm, timing good but if you could confirm that would be even better
@unhurt I managed to complete it once, but only with the aid of a thoroughly highlighted InvisiClues Hint Book (I suspect that we had to order a second highlighting pen to reveal enough (i.e. all) of the hints). Unfortunately my parents gave away the game box when they got rid of our old home computer so I ended up buying an almost complete replacement on Ebay, although it is sadly missing the bag of pocket fluff and that invaluable InvisiClues Hint Book.
I probably won't make PY as usual since Friday looks like being the morning with least rain and wind this week so I will do last minute PoP flyering somewhere on the towpath.
@unhurt, @jdanielp
I dared not look, but I played that game on an Amstrad word processor in the dim and distant. Put me off that kind of game (there's a name for them right?) for life. Don't think I ever escaped the initial scenario.
@IWRATS either interactive fiction or text adventure.
@jdanielp
Cheers. That's my autobiography's strapline sorted.
Did someone way pedant? Shouldn't the thread title be "PY or S for pedants April 2018"?
Or, even more pedantically, "PY, or SP for pedants, April 2018"?
I was tempted to mention Muphry. Glad to see I managed to invoke him.
Think I am probably going to cycle to work rather than come and drink coffee tomorrow.
Thanks to Fimm for the headsup, I hadn't found this thread as I had only checked the "events" folder.
I intend to be at PYorSB from 8-930ish

"Normally from 7.30 to 8.30 (Morning) for most folk."
Some people hang on past nine.
PY means PY.
(For end of the month Friday coffees, when it’s not dry/warm enough to sit outside.)
Breakfast means breakfast.
I won't make it tomorrow (as usual), but can I put in an advance request for The Counter in May, weather allowing?
May means maybe.
That'll do for now.
Looks like if I go early no one will be there so I will not go. See you all tomorrow at pop?
I am leaving for PY soon.
