Assuming that the weather stays decent, I would like to request that May's Peter's Yard morning be held at The Counter on the canal towpath by Leamington Lift Bridge. I will be celebrating a significant birthday that day and would hope to be there from around half eight until nine or so to enjoy some hot chocolate and a baked snack.

@ jdanielp - I'm pretty sure that significant birthdays require homemade cake to be brought (by the birthday-eer).

@Iain McR damn. Not sure about homemade but I could certainly bring something, although I might then feel bad about taking away baked snack sales from The Counter.

@jdanielp I will leave gembo to explain JASS, but specifically what he means is @cyclemanic is collecting old inner tubes for a charity that recycles them in Malawi.

here is more about the charity: https://www.cycleofgood.com

    JASS is: https://www.jasschools.org.uk

JASS - so many to pick from. Knowing Gembo as I don't really, i think its almost certainly this one:

JASS is an event driven scripting language used in Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft III game. Map creators can use it in the World Editor to create triggers and AI scripts.

@SRD well I certainly have old inner tubes so if they can be recycled then that will be satisfying (although I could have tried harder to recycle them myself by actually trying to patch a few more of the holes).

For once, I don't have to be at work for any specific time, so might get there, subject to child-control.

I'll aim to be there, though as I will be on holiday I shan't be getting up at the crack of dawn.

    Hoping to make this...

The Counter on the canal towpath by Leamington Lift Bridge gets my vote.

I am into double figures for tubes. All different sizes.

I hope to be along but the collection at work has only elicited 2 tubes so far.

Is there a minimum number we have to bring to be granted entry?

It looks like this is now official (but I will wait until seeing the QR code before truly believing!). The forecast indicates that the weather will be improving as the week goes on so hopefully it will be nice to sit outside. I will try to remember to bring old inner tubes for the collection.

    (EXTRA SPECIAL)

    Statutory reminder -

    (NOT PY)

    For newcomers (ALL welcome) -

"Normally from 7.30 to 8.30 (Morning) for most folk."

Some people hang on past nine.

    How to get there.

Is the haar codicil necessary? I.e. In event it is Baltic due to haar revert to PY?

That might well be a sensible backup plan unfortunately, although the inner tube collection has been advertised elsewhere. I'm still hoping for an about turn...

(An about turn in the weather that is. The forecast is still for sunny intervals tomorrow morning...)

@jdanielp we must have a final decision lest we be scattered between venues.

I think person on this thread who lives closest to the Canal should look out of their window before 7 and make the call.

Hmm, my forecast has now abandoned claims of haar. I think we should just have @gembo bring a warm jumper just in case.
