It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

I encountered the aftermath of an incident on the towpath at Meggetland this evening at about 1750. Paramedics had a person in cycling kit in a sit-up stretcher and looked about to move them to an ambulance parked at the bottom of the broad flight of steps by the Meggetland flats. There were two bikes parked by the hedge, but I only saw one injured person.
Don't know what happened, but hope all injured parties make a swift recovery.
