Re Evans, we were passing as they were frantically packing up and asked.
It turns out that the landlord is going to do refurbishment of some sort in 2026 or 7 and was asking for a large increase in rent..
Evans Cycles was trying to find another space in Edinburgh, but suddenly the landlord gave them less than a week to empty the store or pay a punitive amount.
So four full timer and several part timers out of a job and all the store contents moved to Brighton!Posted 2 months ago # -
