I am aware of a fairly disabled ten year old that really loves cycling. His school have a £3000 trike but would be great if he could get one for home. I have a really old Triang Brand one in the garage but whilst I bet he could pedal it, it is too small, plus the brake is vertical rod and brake block I think no longer replaceable. So CCE any ideas? (There is a charity access scheme but I doubt his mum would have the time/energy for this). I know these vehicles are not common but thought I might as well ask The Massive.

Anyone know of a trike that can be donated to a good cause?

Cycled a tricycle to @gembo and the ten year old. Turning right from Mayfield Road into West Savile Terrace I got stranded due to northbound traffic piling through on red.
Got my weight and gear wrong and did a great looping swan-neck right turn that started by going left. Driver of the 24 bus looking at me like I had two heads.
Still. Ten year old shrieking with joy when I got there.

This thread probably justifies the existence of CCE. (Not that it needs justifying but you know what I mean.)

Title caught my eye but rarely see upright trikes. Good result and agree @unhurt

I hope they have somewhere secure to store it ? and/or could we donate a good lock?
(just thinking of caroline's trike that seemed to attract hooligans)

That’s two more CCEers outed.

The boy's mum is pleased and thinks there will be space in the house and indeed in her car to get it home.

Aw, a heartwarmer indeed.
(I've seen what I believe was the previously stolen trike parked up in the right area in last couple of weeks, so I assume it was returned to the owner.)

Spotted the owner of the previously stolen trike at the Usher Hall last night.

Having seen the twitter image, I hope you piloted that magnificent machine across with a tasseled biker jacket and goggles.

@Darkerside
I have rarely felt so stylish. Got blanked by a roadie in the ASZ for reasons unknown.

Some people are intimidated by cutting-edge fashion.
My red cords have much the same effect.
