not a support questionA friend had his garage broken into last night. Here is his post, if you hear anything we'd be grateful.
Sometime last night my bike shed was broken into. A selection of bike tools & components were taken. Insurance will take care of most of if but what has hurt most is that the b..... took my old Lapierre carbon frame. It has a snapped drive side seat stay so it will have absolutely no monetary value whatsoever. Once they find the damage they will simply dump it somewhere. The frame is of considerable sentimental value being the bike I completed Paris-Brest Paris on.
So if any of you see it lying abandoned on the bike path of North Edinburgh or in a skip please rescue it & give me a shout.
It's a black and Blue Lapierre Sensium 100 Carbon frame and fork, with a Ritchey stem/bar combo. A pint and eternal gratitude offered if it is recovered....
