You seem to answer your own question @cyclecommute, which seems reasonable

Very significant savings. If only we could actually get our hands on them (our own, not yours)

  2. It's tempting @gembo but not sure I can really justify it right now. Always looking though!

Sorry to hear of the crashes. Stay safe out their folks. & use Cycle Law (other providers are available) to get your fair recompense.

Sorry to hear that. Where are you with obtaining recompense?

It's with the solicitor and insurers. I don't imagine it ever goes very quickly.

Morning, just posting in case this interests anyone. In January, before Covid et al I'd intended to blog my (mainly Audax) related travails as was planning an assault on the points table.

Alas fate had other plans, however planning to dust this off when DIY 200s return in August.

Link below if of interest to anyone. Currently just has a write up of a comically failed DIY 200 from Jan.

@edinburgh87 enjoyed your write up. Well done on the distance in January in low temperatures and very few hours of daylight.

That ford in Pease Sands is really dodgy. I wonder if they close it for traffic during/after heavy rain.

Thanks @bill - first time I've dropped points due to something as trivial as keys. I suspect no-one closes the ford but it genuinely turns my stomach to think of the consequences of hitting it without knowing it's there..
