After being temporarily annoyed at not being able to get from The Quilts to the WoL due to the building work wherein the current bike-and-wheelchair-accessible slope is blocked off whilst it is replaced by stairs, the long-closed section from West Bowling Green st to Newhaven Road is now open, with a couple of the knackered bits of wall now demolished and replaced by gabions or Heras fencing.
