    Looking for assistance.

Richard Thoday is attempting to break the oldest bicycle road record in the UK (possibly the world).

On a penny farthing, Richard is aiming to ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats in less than the current record of 5 days, 1 hour 45 minutes, which was established by GP Mills in 1886.

To complete this attempt, we need to collect various evidence during the record attempt to verify it for Guinness World Records. One of the most important pieces of information are witness statements along the route; we have templates that need to be completed if anyone is available to do this. We particularly need witnesses at the start and finish of the attempt - If you or any of the club are able to help, please contact us at this email address (pennyfarthing@mail.com) or via Facebook. We need two witnesses at both the start and finish.

    Planned itinerary:
    Start: Lands End - 6am 20th July
Finish: John O'Groats - best guess, late afternoon on Wednesday 24th July
