It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

The academic we like has taken up distance cycling and is now apparently the world record holder for cycling from Nordkapp in Norway to Tarifa in Spain - 14 days he took. He chunked it into 63 x100km sections.
