ADDITIONAL INFO FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN
One reason for the attraction of PY (venue) is it has a large table that ‘we’ tend to take over.
PERPETUAL INFO -

Statutory reminder -
For newcomers (ALL welcome) -
How to get there - http://tinyurl.com/PY-Fri
"Normally from 7.30 to 8.30 (Morning) for most folk."
Some people hang on past nine.

Just to be clear - once a month, a few of us like to meet up for a coffee before heading off to our cushy daytime jobs. We normally meet at Soderberg, just off Middle Meadow Walk. This used to be called Peter's Yard (PY) and the name has kind of stuck. It's usually the last Friday of each month. An ever-changing group of us is normally there between 7.30ish until 9ish.
We usually sit at the one long communal table. We are easy to spot - look for the rag-tag group of commuter cyclists. Come along and say hello if you can this Friday (27 September 2019).

9sih or rather later for those of us on a 10-6 sort of pattern.
I'm coming. It's ma birthday!
Posted 5 years ago # -

Posted 5 years ago # -
Early alarm set - I'll try to make an appearance around 7:30 - 8:00.

@EdinburghCycl
I will be there at 8 but I will be amongst the first to arrive, the regulars now do not get out of bed early. In ye olden days it had an earlier kick off for sure.

Posted 5 years ago # -
I touched the contraption's skin. Lustfully, for which sin I shall suffer.
We should book the whole place for the decade-defining white middle class coffee morning.

it wasn't all blokes
May the Lord be thanked for this. I wanted to talk to @SRD about Zimbabwe but could not. @unhurt though gave me a book about roofless shielings.
Posted 5 years ago # -
A copy of that book appeared in my house the other day too.
Posted 5 years ago # -
Were you also tempted to remove the roof from your dwelling or is that just me?
