Someone at work just said that Sunday is the first of December.

    Which means Friday is coffee.

Yes it is! My work is shut on Friday but I am willing to rise earlyish for £££ buns and chat anyway.

some newbies might wish to know we are meeting at Soderberg on Middle Meadow Walk this Friday - I aim to be there for 8

Used to be earlier but tend to sit on your jack jones then

    They have a big table

staff have fluctuated in their tolerance of bells over the years

I now need to do toddler drop off. I suspect this will mean I'll not pass PY until 9:35 at the earliest which I suspect is too late, however I shall still stick my head in!

My office is shut tomorrow so I probably won't be rushing off.

Yes - missed the early shift by a mile as usual. Nice morning though if you stayed off the icy bits.

Too late! I explored Marchmont Hardware and now I have an awl, some garden wire, and a variety of stick-on hooks for purposes as yet undetermined.

Next time, next tool request, perhaps?

Would you say that you bought it "in town", and that it is therefore a townie awl?

The tool is small but very sharp. Short feared awl.

Got there nearer 10am after having to help out with the baby as well which meant I think I missed everyone. However it was a nice morning for a cruise. Spotted a lady riding with super cool knitted leg warmers over the top of her jeans. Keeping those lower legs warmer although cruelly they kept snagging on her front derailleur cable.

Ooh, I've been thinking about knitting some stripy legwarmers. But catching on stuff is a concern.

Awl be ignoring the tools above your post because ouch.
