    Thanks to everyone who took part. Not as in casual 'thanks' but as in 'I thank you'. This is CCE at its best in my view, a view which will some day mean something to someone, maybe. Or not. Anyway, the fix is in:

    In third place and strongly commended: @acsimpson for a brutally honest summation of the year.

    In second place, slightly too polished but still both musically satisfying and also verging on the realm of the unhinged, @Arellcat.

    Only one winner though. Spontaneous, unchained joy layered with universal bafflement. @wingpig wears the crown.
