When shall we three meet again? The early geeks disbanded at 0900 due to work commitments...

Sorry couldnt be there. Life got in the way. We had an argument about whether I should poke around inside the oven to figure out what model switch it uses, and then I had to put a chicken in to roast in the slow cooker.

I actually read 'the children' for 'a chicken' and did a double take.

They don't fit in the slow cooker. Its why I need to figure out how to fix the oven.

Lots of background famblynoise this morning so not even eavesdropping. Might move up to the pseudoffice in advance of my work speak-calls.

No one there today though I am late. Very windy out

Had a bad week with milk delivery - Monday - no milk - Nickled for only second time in 20 years and today punctured carton causing spillage and decanting to milk jug.

Warm milk makes me think of my lovely highland granny, she had no fridge so the milk was always rank

Because Desert Island Discs is on R4

Actually it was on yesterday too (as today is whole day of DID) and the announcer at the end had to tell us all it was THURSDAY

Early shift struck again - although we're now down to a solitary pair. In cross-pollination with the Wildlife Highlight thread, I was about to add "(non-breeding)" but I suppose we're both breeding, just not with each other!

poor show this morning, down to three. Last man standing etc....

Somethings however are a constant. Like planck, avogadro & boltzmann, jDanielp in a blue dressing gown framed by some kitchen units with eponymous bowl of crunchy nut will be a lasting lockdown memory.

@Iain McR my dressing gown is actually black but my webcam is certainly not the best... Maybe it could become the new white and gold dress? I'll maybe collect a number of items of different colours and run a calibration test next time.

I genuinely have an 18% reflectance neutral grey card upstairs somewhere.

@IWRATS I could swap you Limmy's autobiography for it?

    @jdanielp

Not a trade that's ever been done before I'll wager. I'll see if I can find it.

@IWRATS indeed. I also have both of his collections of utterly bonkers short stories if those are of interest?

Jdanielp - would it be fair to say you are a fan of Brian Limmond?

@gembo yes it would, but I only discovered him quite late on, post-Limmy's Show. I was first aware of him properly when a friend recommended the Falconhoof sketches to me.
