    In related news, I've been working my way through the TV series Knightmare, probably the best children's gameshow of all time. I'm currently half-way through series three.

    Turns out I hadn't dropped a stitch, just stuck the left hand needle somewhere untoward.

    Good news, no need to unpick.

    Slightly concerned by the delay between the "dropped" stitch at 09:49 and the all clear status update at 11:54.

    @chrisfl, these postmortems can take time

    @chrisfl

    Had to decrypt the blockchain for audit porpoises. Glad to know someone's keeping tabs on the timestamps.

    Tried to cast off last night but half a can of Dead Pony Club crippled me.

    On this morning?

    Are we returning to the Original @SRD link, or the @IWRATS one from last week?

    Might listen in but there's a joiner in the front garden building a shed and no-one else is properly up yet. Currently flitting between hammering, circularly sawing and drilling with a hair dryer from upstairs at the same time.
    There's a wee café at the top of KaDeWe in Berlin which serves hot chocolate which is essentially molten chocolate.
    The battery bits from the bottom of the fish/chip fryer were referred to as 'scraps' when I was small.

    @IWRATS

    You are accurate (as the great Captain Raymond Holt in Brooklyn 99 would say)

    But only in the first half of your premise.

    unsure what oor wullie level we are currently at, probably either Crivvens or Help ma boab, but suspect an actual PY is off limits.

    Any interest in a vPY, although appreciate its a bit short notice and there may not be time to procure / arrange a suitably impressive book collection background.

    I can offer a Teams link or someone can probably knock up a Zoom/Googlewhatever

    do we have to be in costume?

    Quoting from way, way up-thread "fancy dress or nuffin"

    However... my costumery isn't likely to deviate from the new normal (which looks like the old normal, but shabbier, as I can now wear second tier t-shirts (actually, will we need to tier our attire to be third tier?)).

    SRD's original link still works...

    Does a dressing gown count as 'costume'? I'll be wearing one.

    That's ok then. Might be running a bit late though since I've started taking walks before work starts now that it is dark so early (I'm trying to continue on summer time).
