It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

The flickr iPhone app has been updated. The most useful change is that it is now possible to check (and alter) the place where the photo was taken.
This is made much easier - even on a small screen - by the fact that the app (unlike the flickr web site) uses the Google map and satellite view.
So that means it would be possible to photograph a pothole (or anything else) and mark it with 'pinpoint accuracy'.
