When he says tears he means full sobbing where the diaphragm is heaving and there is lots of snot
Five mins back turned clearly involved tear ducts

Yes the full cathartic effect of crying is only available when it results in a loss of control. Snot, cat-like yowling and the heaving diaphragm.

Had they bought something new in the meantime as a replacement, meaning they're now looking at having to find somewhere to store something they thought they were rid of?

That was taken into account in the original scoping exercise. The new house has a lockable shed so this is a blue bicycle and not a white elephant.
