    Loch Ness? Any midge?

The midges don't tend to follow you out onto the water. So the MPS was removed just before immersion and reinstalled just afterwards.

Excellent geographical sleuthing but no cigar.

Tomorrow morning actually looks like it might be dry. Maybe the light in the sky will come out too? Any other planned attendance at the canal?

@gembo you did well to get a cold these days

There are a lot of colds going round.

Which is worrying, because a cold is no more or less difficult to catch than C19...

Also, the UK rate of C19 infection is back to what it was when we first went into lockdown. WCGW?

@amir, Mrs Garto (my better half) is a school teacher. I am guessing she is the vector. I am still largely at home but was in craigmillar the other day.

There was no period of grace for colds when the schools went back. Day 1 they started. see also nits.

The level of Rhino Virus in the schools is higher I would guess than that of Covid-19 but most definitely Passed on in the same ways.

Agreed, my youngest displayed a cold 2 days after school went back, and I had it 2 days after that.

Should at least be possible to test for Rhino Virus by visual inspection.

We got a cold in our house almost as soon as the schools went back too. I assume that younger children at least are more likely to catch and pass on a cold than Covid-19.

i was thinking that we could occupy 2-3 separate tables, outside. and avoid shouting too much. or does that stretch the guidelines too far?

Is this the barge at Fountainbridge or actual PY (Soderberg on Middle Meadow Walk) that people are talking about? Barge worked well last time.

Absentmindedly thinking about the feasibility of a PY Midlothian splinter group that meets at The Hub at Bush.
