    Reopening the St Andrews rail link has been put forward as part of a £22 billion rail revolution proposed by the Scottish Green Party.

    Assume line to St Andrew would be a mere 100 million. They've been talking about it long enough. Almost as long as doubling line capacity on the Highland. My brother worked on quite for that 20 years ago and was amazingly cheap. They opted to improve roads instead.
