The Cameron Toll to Meadows Quiet Route would provide a safe, low pollution way to walk or wheel between the Meadows and Cameron Toll Shopping Centre – a distance of about 2 miles. The route also enables access to Sciennes Primary School, multiple nurseries and other local amenities.
This proposal for a Quiet Route has been developed by a group of local residents, with the help and support of Blackford Safe Routes, Spokes, the Better Edinburgh for Sustainable Travel group and a sub-group of Sciennes Primary School Parent Council. We are speaking to Edinburgh City Council and community councils about the best way to refine and implement our ideas.
