Friends of Gyle Park have received lots of complaints about the condition of the paths in the park due to flooding, ice, mud, uneven surfaces etc… So one of their members has submitted a grant fund application to ‘Paths for All’ for the ‘Ian Findlay grant’ …which is about increasing active travel by creating/improving alternative quality path networks.
They have to submit their applicaiton by the 6th of March. so have created a survey (required for the application) to gather community support.
Can you help by completing and, in addition, adding comments (personal statements) which they can use for the submission.
They would really appreciate it if anyone who travels through Gyle Park could add your comments about e.g. the flooding, ice, mud, uneven surfaces making it difficult and discouraging use.
If anyone has any experience of applying to this or other grant funding schemes and has helpful advice then they would love to hear it. Either post it here and I'll link it or contact them directly.
