Arrived home from band practice last night 815pm spoke to nice weegee man who was staffing the junction. I now have double yellows across my drive which is hilarious as no one has ever parked there. Though they do park on the pavement [even this morning a guy parked his huge motor on pavement to film the double yellows. He got a BE OFF WITH YOU stare and complied]. More shocking there is now ten metres of painted cycle lane which ends abruptly at the bus stop. THere used to be red painted lane after the bus stop but all the cars parking there have worn it away. Hilarious. The complainers who caused the paint job are out taking photos and films to continue their complaint. But where do I go to complain about. Them?????
Even more shocking there has been a Scotmid or forerunner of Scotmid in Balerno since 1865 - I knew there was a reason I moved here.
