After the US rapid withdrawal from there she devoted her time to evacuating as many of these female riders as possible with zero help from the UCI. Last year she got one woman into Dundee where she can study and cycle free from the Taliban.
Part of the saga revealed the corruption of Afghan cycling federation officials and she had evidence from the three male cyclists now requiring evacuation. Initially they went to Pakistan but they couldn't remain there. Now funding is required to get them to safety.
