Decided to take the stand out by Helios tandem. Darren M took trike.
Quite useful as we were allowed to cycle up to our stand so saved having to carry anything. Carrier is bit higher than it needs to be as still has Blackburn Rack on underneath. So could have taken four panniers but one was enough with big box. Took a few hundred leaflets, pull up stand, seat post, extra pedals. Bike helmet, cable lock etc.
Route to airport along Slateford and join canal after aquaduct. Then off at Hermiston and down by Gogarbank. Short busy section at airport access. Time taken around 50mins as quite slow. new canal surface is good though with nice paved ramp off.
