"eg I happen to have relatively small feet, so to get "one size fits all" socks I need the pack marked as "womens" if I want them to fit."

My sock size is boys aged 11. Why not girls? You can't seem to get sports socks for girls..

You can't seem to get sports socks for girls..

Lidl had some women's cycling socks advertised the last time someone linked to them. (but do you mean 'women's' or 'girls'?).

Am actually amazed at how much sports kit there is for girls these days. I still have a pair of lifa long underwear that I wore for skiing which my mother took the boys crotch out of and restitched, because that's all there was. Now you can get it in 'girly' colours!

I don't wear pink, except hi-viz because i really dislike hi-viz yellow, green etc.

I mean girls. Women's are too big or I'd just buy those. You definately get some nice cycling kit for women nowadays though.

Wow. someone with feet smaller than me? I wear a woman's 3.5 usually (can sometimes fit girls sizes too), and hiking socks in women's small 3-5 fit well. They're the only socks I've ever found that fit that well. Pricey though, but good on sale.

Yip. Need to buy kiddies shoes half the time as well. At least they are cheaper. ;-)

Know the feeling, try buying blokes shoes in a size 5... they all seem to start at 6 or 7, and the kids ones certainly at the moment aren't the sort that look sensible with smart trousers, if I wanted court shoes my choices would be endless but it might attract some comment!
At least kids/womens trainers and walking shoes/boots are easier :-/
