ARTS chiefs are to spend £1.5 million on a three-year drive to "get Scotland dancing". Creative Scotland has announced that a major part of a £6.5m fund set up to capitalise on the 2012 Olympics and 2014 Commonwealth Games will be set aside for dance programmes and showcases.

No doubt that dance is a good form of exercise - and art form. Popular in schools that offer it to those who don't want to do conventional PE.
Don't suppose there is any 'legacy' money going in to encouraging people to walk or cycle.
