People like that have never learnt to drive. Once upon a time they learnt to pass a short practical test whose results can often be based on the chance of not coming upon an unfamiliar situation. However they have almost certainly forgotten most of what that test involved.

Excellent lorry behind me, Thistle Timbers, waited til absolutely clear before overtaking on harlaw road, chererful driver was then given instructions on where his delivery of timber was going, way over a high garden wall.
