Let me be the first to suggest a week on Friday (18th). Mainly because I'll be off work that day so I won't have to leave at 8:10 sharp = many more minutes of cake consumption.

If I don't have a new bike to parade by then, I WILL CRY.

Wow, that is so far into the future I will probably be arriving by jet pack. Pretty sure I'm free though.

Hmmm, will it be a spiky tyre meet I wonder...

Will try to make it :-)

  8. That will be the first day in about 4 weeks I won't have a daily 8.30 meeting on a particular project. I may prefer a lie-on, but will probably make it.

I think I'll skip this one and see you nearer Chrimbo time. Will we do the old bike stuff (no shiny new bike bottles this year) wrapped or unwrapped.
PS @Min did/does that little red light that was crushed and seloptaped still work?

Haha, yes -at least last time I tried. It's invincible!

@Smudge - I thought it was supposed to be old second hand things hence the indestructo light Min inherited as it was the only thing I had with me I could remove and still get to work safely
@Min - really? Awesome! so it WAS a decent thing to give away. You could put it on your h****t (ducks) or tie it to a headband as I reckon two height lights are the best safety measure any cyclist can take in the dark :)

@Spitters, now worries :) I couldn't find any used things I didn't want but the bottle was surplus and no loss so it went. Everybody wins ;-)
Will have to start digging through the spares box early this year! :-/

I may have to miss this one. Mornings are difficult for me as my partner is the one left getting two diffcult boys ready for school on her own.

I'd much rather an after work coffee/tea where we are under less preasure to get in early, as putting boys to bed doesn't have a hard time like school.

    Perhaps for next time?

  17. Doesn't have to be 'either/or', could organise an after-work thing and still have PY of an occasional monthly-ish morning...

@DaveC hear hear - an afternoon/eve gig would be cool to see all the lights working - I vote Nero on Henderson/Stockbridge then we can race each other up Glouscester street with lights ablaze

What about the Pavilion, by Fairmilehead treatment works? That's nice and convenient for me, plus to get home it's downhill in nearly every direction.

Kaputnik, Laid Back and I have already done Gloucester Street, and I'm not racing up it!

No earlier than usual, strictly I should be starting work at 7!

  27. Nice to see folk this morning, even if it was only briefly - from the middle of next week these 8.30 meetings should be done with (although I also should find out about the job as a whole later today).

I do fear I'm becoming a little... extrovert.... about the Tron Wheel.

I hope it is good news about the job.
