GRITTER! GRITTER!
I got a photo of it to prove it existed and was going along MMW. Don't know that it was actually gritting at the time, though; no noticeable crunchy spicules under my tyres on the way back up to Lauriston Place.

No it was! It went by while Steveo and I were unlocking and there was a narrow path of sprinkled grit behind it!

Very Narrow path. Better than nothing though, do they do the ped side as well?

It would probably have to go up and down about 8 times to cover the whole path...

Innocent was indeed icy but it was mostly dry so not actually too bad.

It was coming down as I rode up. It wasn't gritting as such but think it was trickling out the back anyway. Or maybe they've set it just to grit one tyres-width of path? It was on the side of the path that technically you can't cycle on though. Perhaps it turned around and went back up?

I know it's a big ask, but if you could do the Lorentz factor as a Reynolds, I'd pretty much be your bitch forever.

It's a beautiful equation, for one thing, but when you push the numbers you get all the neutron stars and time dilations that make this Universe such a magical place to live in.

Outstanding!
I would kill for a Reynolds 666 jersey, even though I hardly ever wear jerseys (it can be the third one in my collection, after the Audax Ecosse and official PBP jerseys).
