  1. Anyone up for this Friday? It's been a stressful week for one reason and another (and another and another) so what better way to relax than imbibing caffeine.

    Er.

Anyway, I know it's short-ish notice. But I'll be PYing on Friday no matter what the feeling.

Roibeard looks like he was making the most effort not to frighten potential cyclists off. The rest of you should be ashamed of yourselves.

    :)

I smell a caption competition. Standard £1 Puncture repair kit to the winner...

"Well they got the sit bone measuring tool out... then I realised I had to cycle more."

@amir - Roibeard had the reflective band and dayglo cover on a H*****T - he was the worst possible advertisement for citizen cyclery!

Dave's photo shows just how effective even small patches of retroreflective are when caught in a light.

Speaking of butt measuring... I was cycling round South York last Saturday and my friend had a Specialized saddle and told me the Specialized shop in York has a Butt measurement tool to measure the width of the bones apparently, where they can then recomend the right width saddle, which I believe comes in 5mm increments width... The mond boggles at what casual shoppers would think looking in through the window where a chap is bent over and the shop assistant is measuring the shoppers rear end.....

The rims on the front wheel of the red bike are impressively reflective

Kaputnik: "The taxi gave me this much room..."

    Everyone Else: "Wow, that much?"

The part of the dormouse in today's drama was played by Anth.

EDIT: and twitter has just informed me that it's lewis carrolls birthday today!
