My latest eBay acquisition has come with a classic Stronglight 49D chainset which needs a slightly bigger remover - 23mm rather than 22mm I think.

Well if you can't find one you could always undo the bolt and ride around for a while till the crank works loose.

Actually doesn't often work if put on properly.
ANYWAY it's not a bike - it's a frame + cranks!

A what?
Take to the Bike Station, they have a lot of experience of taking old bikes to bits.
