Seems central Edinburgh might get a bit of damp!

CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Joy...
thursday evening commute looks challenging:

Tropical storm even!
So, a defensive wet-conditions re-lube is in order, then? I'll need to buy a newspaper or get hold of a Metro to have something to help wick the damp out of my slow-drying shoes.
Not too windy though, and the morning isnt too bad.............for mid summer !
Fab... and I'm swithering whether or not to return to work tomorrow as I was off today with manflu/unspecified lurgy
(or in medic speak, "probably a virus" announced in confident tone ;-))
Not looking encouraging :-(
Mild damp this morning. We'll see - after riding home just fine through Hurricane Bawbag I'm even less inclined to pay any attention to the weather.
Miserable wet and foggy in FK1. Out of breath walking up the stairs, stuff it, I'm staying home! :-(
On a lighter note, my grass is looking much greener now!
(I'll get my coat!!)
Rain band seems to have passed over the west coast, which is nice. Unless there's a second mountain of cloud just waiting for me to leave the office.
BBCScotWeather just tweeted that most of the rain has missed Scotland and is over the east coast out into the north sea.
"(I'll get my coat!!)"
You're going to need it..
Bah, I brought the ss expecting a deluge and not getting to go for a nice long ride. Not that I'm complaining really.
The sun is shining over St Andrews Sq... There I have said it! It'll surely rain on the way home now.
The sun is not shining over Helensburgh. I can, however, report that the SON hub continues to power the front light even when submerged. I'm not sure how that can possibly work, so I'm assuming it's German pixies.
Damp.
Home and dry
Eek - just squeaked in before the down pour - phew!
Me too, came out the shower at work to the glorious sound of pounding rain on the roof. Unfortunately no one else in the office seems to have cycled in today for me to gloat at.
