Help shape our new digital service
The Council has successfully been awarded funding for a parks and green spaces project which includes developing a new website and app to:
support exploring and enjoying the city's parks and green spaces
learn about heritage, conservation and biodiversity.
Images and short descriptions on items and areas of interest will be mapped as 'collections' and can be spotted following routes across the city. Users will be able to add comments, photos and collections.
We welcome your participation:
how/when would you use this?
what content would be of interest to you?
other ideas you have around this topic?
Please join in:
in a focus group at the Central Library, George IV Bridge, on Tuesday 22nd May from 6-6.45pm or 7-7.45pm or Wednesday 23rd May from 6-6.45pm or 7-7.45pm
in an online focus group on Monday 21st May from 3.00-4.00pm or 6.30-7.30pm - or another time slot in the week of 21st May, to be arranged as mutually suitable with the researcher
Please get in touch to let us know which session you can attend so you can give your thoughts on this new service or volunteer to test the prototype at a later stage in the project.

Sounds like a great opportunity to include cycle routes/access to parks and perhaps even 'designate' things like NEPN as a park/greenspace.
