It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Last night, about 21.00. Horrible looking smash at Calders/Westerhailes. Private hire cab with front end damage, motorbike in bits across two lanes, motorcyclist unconcious, being tended to by several passers-by. No emergency services when I passed.
Not cycling related as such, but I know several people here also use motorised two wheelers on occasion.
Hope it turns out to be not as bad as it looked.
