Said hello to AlanR who was triking uphill near Firrhill mini roundabout. I'd had a brilliant run along Colinton Mains Drive and was carrying rather more speed than usual, so I sort of ended up overtaking.

Couple on the platform at Balgreen tramstop, perhaps optimist about getting on the tram as they had both a basketbike and a Bakfiets loaded with plants and shrubs?
Another Whyte bike with Lime Green locking skewers on the wheels at Roseburn today, 545pm. Rider off to play squash?
Prof. Iain Stuart, him off the geology documentaries, filming a piece in front of James Clerk-Maxwell statue on George Street about 550Pm

@kaputnik: I saw the laden bakfiets as well. Reminded me that I need to empty the dead plants from the pots in my garden.

Fimm walking through haymarket station with hat and brompton. I was heading to through to glasgow on my MTB.
The bike rack on the train easily and comfortably held 2 mtb and a third road bike. nonsense that they say they can only hold 2.
In Glasgow I saw the most high risk RLJ by a young chap on a run down bike at a crossroad. I suspect that his brakes didn't work so he just aimed for a gap and went for it. HE looked like he was enjoying himself though...

Arobcomp I didn't notice you, but there are always lots of people with bikes in Haymarket (even at 7:30am) - you have to have a really unusual/nice bike (or a Brompton!) for me to notice... (also I was cutting it a touch fine for my train).

A red tandem locked up on Scotland St this morning. Stoker had no seat in the seatpost, but instead a lower seat clamped to the rear crossbar, presumably for a child/Person of restricted growth?
No photo, as cba stopping on the climb to work.

@Fimm I wandered in from your 3 o'clock as you rushed past - you looked like you knew where you were going. I was assuming the "there must be a train at about 1/4 to 8" technique. There were a few other folders in the station but mine was the only wide handled MTB with 3'' tyres...

Steveo at South Gyle Access earlier. Is there a bit less of you than last year?

Dave on the NEPN just after 6PM and just before Fiveways, his current recumbotraption makes it had to confirm the spot as you see the soles of his feet long before his face!

Sorry I couldn't hang around Nelly I was running late to meet some one. A little less of me yeah, been running more than riding seems supporting my enormous mass is harder than having the bike do it!

Spotted some superb ripe brambles around the derelict doocot of the former ravelrig house this afternoon. Spottedhem, then I ate them.

One of the Haymarket hire bikes on Porty Prom this afternoon.

Abellio hire in Porty? That rates as a rare spot. I'm yet to see one. Mind you I've never knowingly seen a Hoy bike either and miss forumers too!

Nice chap (perhaps german or dutch?) on a blue Pino / Brooks saddle, we chatted on the Broomhouse path as we both headed to different offices in Edin Park.
Cant do that on a car commute :-)

Arellcat with the Red Torpedo on the grassy knoll at Linlithgow yesterday, but she arrived just as we were leaving so didn't get to introduce myself.

Steveo - sorry !
I do remember a runner, but just in that 'all seeing peripheral vision' type thing you perfect as a cyclist to save your life.
