I think I spotted wingpig stopped in Lochend Park on Monday morning. By the time I'd decided it probably was him it was way too late to say anything (I was at work).

I can't remember where I went on Monday. I briefly stopped in Lochend Park whilst trying to make a phone call at about twenty to ten on Tuesday morning.

ICE Sprint 26 Rohloff by LaidBackBikes, on Flickr
Customer on way home to Peak District with new trike. Note low gearing - 34T chainring.... Carrying quite a bit as camping.

A fellow Charge Grater 3 rider overtook me on the canal towpath on the way home this evening. Instead of asking "no bell?" due to his stealthy overtaking manoeuvre, I said "snap" instead... I think that this probably just confused him since he turned briefly displaying a quizzical expression.

@Acsimpson - it's not often that I'm out capcited...
I was in the midst of doing my complementary check of all the brake lights amongst the queuing traffic. Only 2 today but both were very grateful of the heads up :-)

Urban-arrowed Kim tonight who I think was paying attention to a cyclist who had hopped off a pavement in front of a turning bus. As was I. Driver was paying attention though.

Greenroofer bombing down gogar station road. I was disguised as dad in a taxi returning from Dublin off 6a.m. Flight to be at daughter's concert this morning.
I was taking it easy during my James Joyce recitations yesterday, but no sleep since 6a.m. Yesterday

Thought I spotted daisydaisy on a helios tandem heading westbound on Russel Road with no passenger. I was on the chopper heading east. I had to stop as it wasn't safe to cross onto the Roseburn path with those dang parked cars.

@gembo 'bombing' is putting it a bit strongly. 'Ambling' might be better...

I passed who I now recognise as the the pro-cycling Conservative counsellor Cameron Rose this morning on MMW.

Arrelcat ( I think! Carbon quest?), spotted by my wife and kids on Clinton Road who shouted hello at you having heard I bumped into you at Laid Back Bikes the other week...

Yes, that was me. :) I was on my way to* the Cycle Service to pick Hannah's brain about brakes.
* or from, since I came home on a similar route.

Morningsider making good speed north on, appropriately enough, Morningside Road. I was disguised as a parent on school-closed-for-the-referendum child care duties, which reluctantly require the consumption of hot drinks in Blackwood Coffee.

Dave heading to work cycling the opposite way to us at Russell Road on the NEPN. I was with Instograph and TractorFactory

Over the last year Hankchief and I have done in flight high fives as we pass each other on school run. This soon graduated to high 15s as we included both mini hankchiefs. Today was the last chance for some in flight palm bashing. So I today minibiketrain and I laid in wait and managed an in flight high 30.

Just recalled the other day think we saw Utrechtcyclist +1 locking up outside Meadowbank Sainsburys. The Dutchbike and citizen bike kit was a bit of a giveaway.
We were trying to wrestle a 2yr old out of a trolley.

I spotted a rower who had fallen in the canal from a coxless four. The coach cycling along the towpath was calm in her instructions to get him back aboard

@gembo
A political metaphor deeper than the canal itself.

Anas Sarwar, Patrick Harvie, a clarty-fingered wingpig and (apparently I'm not hallucinating) the new Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland Kezia Dugdale all in a crowd at Holyrood.

I was there briefly towards the end but foolishly didn't bring food or drink so didn't last long after it 'finished'...

"Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland Kezia Dugdale"
Sounds like an hallucination.

Who got the massive cheer at 1750 just as I was leaving?

You did, clearly.

At the Wednesday lunchtime Holyrood demo there was someone on a Swifty Zero. I've been vaguely looking at scootlers recently and it's disheartening to see that adult-sized models with reasonably-sized pneumatic wheels are so expensive.

"Lightweight, only 8.2kg"(?!)

talked with the scootee last night - she was eyeing up laidback's tandem. encouraged her to go have a test ride - think she might. maybe he can get a reciprocal go on the scooter?
