Yes I said sorry. Daniel I didn’t recognise you in your new blue Cagoule.

On the way home @Greenroofer spotted me and I spotted him he went for the wave whilst I went for the Hi5

I was fresh from spotting @Dave too, for the second time this week. We are an easy spot, as a Tern front rack is a bit of a giveaway.

The car transporters I was banging on about are bringing in Hire Cars and they go to Level Minus 2 Waverley COurt. The hire company. Rent their space from the council so I have less axe to grind.

The Kingsknowe Rat scuttled along the landing stage on the canal at Polwarth Parish Church as I cycled home just now.

Spotted @Jdanielp en route to canal as we negotiated a rather chaotic attempt to cross Melville Drive in opposite directions.

@SRD sorry, I completely missed you amidst the chaos! I didn't help matters by attempting to continue travelling west when the road was clear, rather than waiting momentarily for the green man, given that I could see that the way ahead was blocked by the sheer number of people on feet and bicycles waiting to head east at the pinch point.

I had done similar, albeit on foot and on the opposite side of the melee from you.

Spotted our illustrious leader in The Bike Station at lunchtime, and we had a good look at his latest bike (531 frame of course).

This evening, on the Longstone aqueduct, at the east end, a chap pushing a bike carying a surf board on some sort of specialised rack (like this). And at the west end a chap riding a bike with a two stroke mounted in the middle of the frame waiting patiently for me to complete my traversal of said aqueduct (makes a change from a dodgy converted e-bike).

Bloke cycling ahead of me with a very bright white light on the back of his bike - more confusing/disconcerting than you might think.

Rooting around in my Google Drive's "Shared with me" folder, and spotted something called "Edinburgh".

Ye gods, a map of Edinburgh overlaid with lots of coloured lines approximately vertical, horizontal and both ways diagonal. You know who.
