That would explain why I saw @neddie and A.N.Other walking along Forrest Rd on Tuesday (it's my in-office day and our new offices are up the lane next to Sandy Bell's which I have a tenuous family link to with it being owned by my great Uncle many years ago https://sandybells.com/history/ )

@mcairney - the AI Dept was there before moving to South Bridge which burnt down. Up the lane not Sandy Bells. I see @SRD’s former PhD student let’s call then Layla, plays clarinet in Sandy bells as part of Och Vey

@bill heading uphill on the way home on her commute as I was heading downhill on the way home at the start of my commute, meeting at the towpath access ramp on Hermiston House Road Bridge. We had a nice chat and cycled together as far as Bridge 8 Hub where Iza diverted off the canal.
