It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Dog in office? check
Men not wearing ties? check
Bike parked under a stair case at work? Check.
Thankfully I work for a company that doesn't think you need these things to do a professional job. They judge us on the merit of our work. So much so that the dog is actively encouraged into the office as it calms people down and creates a pleasant place to work.
Personally I think dogs in offices should be mandatory.
I wish I had a camera with me then I could show you all the wonderful "parking" round my office. Untidy does not begin to describe it...
