Thanks @Laidback for pointers. Have passed onto Bjorn-brother and hoping to see him go full bike-family soon.

Interested to see what he chooses. He's not known for spending money. His current push bike came with their last rental house making him give it the monkier of "the best bike in norway*"

*If you could cost to performance, with a free bike that has worked for a year being pretty solid in that ratio.

    Re-heated this thread.

£450 is very reasonable price for any bakfiets trike.

From customer - can pm me if you want their details.

Brand: The cargo bike co- family cargo trike
Age : 10-15 years (I think). We have had it about 9-10 months and used it mostly through the summer and fairly lightly
Frame: Steel, painted blue, lots of scrapes and superficial rust but nothing I am aware of that causes any issue beyond cosmetic
Box - plywood, removable bench and seat belts for 2 kids
Gears: 3 x 8 speed. Shimano Deore rear derailleur, unsure front derailleur. Sunrace shifters
Cables: Were all apparently new just before I bought it - had been serviced at Soul cycles
Chain and cassette: similarly almost new before we got it
Chainring and bottom bracket: pretty much new.
Brakes - V with promax levers - one a double pull for front, rear one has a parking button to lock the rear brake on
Tyres: Front are schwalbe marathon supreme, worn but plenty life left. Rear is pretty much new schwalbe marathon plus tour (I put it on to avoid any punctures)
Accessories: Has a rear pannier rack, some mudguards (front are pretty tatty but work) Unofficial tarp with elastic for transporting stuff.

DS rain cover which pretty much envelops the whole bike to the bottom of the wheels. Available for £40
Maxi-cosi mount/adaptor from Babbooe. Available for £60 if someone wants.

Just saw this on GumTree. Shorter Bakfiets. Unpowered model. New ones with STEPS taking longer.
