Building on their "Free Fair" events, the Forest Cafe are running a series of recycled arts and crafts workshops (1-4pm Sundays) which they are are hoping to develop as a series of extended one-off craft sessions with different themes or guest workshop leaders.
The Forest Cafe will be also hosting a 'free-school' in one of their tents at the Meadows Festival on the weekend of the 5th and 6th June. They have 45 mins - 1 hour slots for people to come and give a workshop / demonstration. Many people learn best when they see a practical demonstration where they have the opportunity to be part of the process.
So if you have a passion for recycling, or just want to try teaching something completely new, why not volunteer for a slot?
There is a limited number of places to do workshops so please get in touch as soon as possible if you are interested. Provide details of what day and time you can do, and what general or specific theme you would like to unleash on the Meadows.
